Does anyone have a specific recommendation for proper silver (wrinkle?) paint to use on an '84 Boxer's intake manifolds/runners? Is there such a thing as wrinkle powder-coat?

Thanks,

Duncan McPherson

There is wrinkle powder coatint. I've used it on cam covers. See attached photo. This is a nice option and holds up well. The color for the intakes is a flat or satin silver. VHT also makes paints that could work. I've found wide variations in the silver or aluminum color offered by various paint manufacturers, so try two or three on a test plate to see what matches best.
