I would like to become an auto technician for Ferrari. What are the proper steps that I must take to do this? I live in Texas, and I can not afford to go to Italy to a school over there. Can someone please give me some advice in achieving this goal. I know that here in Texas there are 3 main dealerships of Ferrari in Dallas (Plano), Houston and San Antonio.

The first thing you need to do is go to auto mechanics school and learn how to be an auto mechanic. There are many similarities between Ferrari's and other automobiles.
Then I would follow your own suggestion and contact the 3 dealers for a job.

Don't waste your time and $$ on auto trade schools. Look into programs at your local community colleges and invest your $$ in tools.
Do whatever it takes to get your foot in the door at any of the Authorized Ferrari dealerships you mentioned, this might involve accepting a job other than a mechanics helper or appentice. Be as humble and helpful as possible and work your way towards your goal. Ferrari technical training is only readily available through the authorized dealer network.
Good Luck!
