2 months ago bought my first Ferrari,,,, I typically give the motor ample time to warm up before pullig out of the driveway, then drive it 15 minutes or so before driving it fairly hard to enjoy the performance... however, when doing so blue smoke then appears to rise out our the motor.... ?????? any thoughts?

Blue smoke almost always means burning oil. If it's coming out of the exhaust it usually means leaking oil control rings or valve seals. If you see it coming out of the engine cover, it probably means that oil is leaking onto the exhaust manifold. That engine has plenty of places to leak from (I've been trying to plug a few leaks in my 328 for six years or so without 100% success yet). But if you open the engine cover while it is smoking, you might be able to identify the general area that it is coming from and narrow down the possible causes. Cam seals are a likely possibility. Also, if you find oil under the car after it sits, the location can help you trace it to the source.
