This will be my first time Ferrari purchase. I am looking at a 1982 308GTsi or a 86 Mondial. They are both about the same price, I like the looks of the Mondial a little better and would like to know any pros or cons about the cars.

Either car have someone check it out. It will save you money in the long run.

I owned a 1982 308GTSi. I have also owned a number of front engined V-12's. I have never owned or driven a Mondial. I thought the 308 GTSi was an okay car - just okay. It didn't do anything special for me, although the looks are great. Luggage capacity is limited. It depends on your use of the car. If you want to take your honey for a long weekend, the Mondial will have more room. Good luck.
