Hello Bill Badurski,

We worked together on an air box for your Daytona a couple of years ago, hope it is working well. Do you sstill have the car?

Can you please give me some tire advice? I have 9" cromodoras on the back of my Daytona and 7 1/2 on the front. Have been running Michelin XWX 225 70 15s on the back and 215 70 15s on the front. The two back tires need replacing, but michelin doesn't make a 225 XWX any longer. I can run the smaller 215's but prefer not to as they look too small.

The local goodyear store said a 275 60 15 RSA would fit the back. However, compared with the 225 michelin's, the section width is almost two inches wider and the tire height is .6 inches higher. Am thinking there is not enough room.

Is there any source to get 225 michelins? If not, do you have any thoughts regarding the Goodyears. And last, am wide open to any suggestions. (I suspect you can answer this off the top of your head)>

Take care and thanks.

Chuck,
See my other response in V12. I cannot find the Goodyear RSA size you mention. These tires are listed as all-weather, so probably not the best choice. Another option is Pirelli P600 in 235/60-15. Looks like a good tire, and this size will fit your wheels well too.
