Hello is there such a thing as a 328 all aluminum ferrari . a 1989 is for sale and is advertised as the one and only . true or false . also what would should i be looking at for a low mileage 308 and 328 . finally the 1975 to 1977 308's where made out of fiberglass , better choice ? thanks , ron null

Ron, Never heard of an all aluminum 328. Sounds fishy to me. The 1976 308 GTB was fiberglass. After that they were steel. As with any Ferrari, look for maintenance records that meet the criteria shown in the Owner's Manual Scheduled Maintenance chart.

Fox Valley Motorcars in the Chicago suburbs claimed to have an aluminum bodied 328 a year or two ago. Car was yellow with a red interior (boxer style ventilated seats.) Bad combo ! Dealer claimed alum. body & seats were factory options. Very nice condition but he was asking in the low $70s & that was nuts at the time.
