Q. |
How do I arrange a Ferrari factory tour?
|
|
A. |
For groups of 1-4 people it is best to arrange a tour through your local authorized Ferrari dealer. For larger groups, it may be possible for the FCA to assist in arranging a special group tour. If you have a larger group wishing to make the trip please make you inquiries through the FCA Executive Director, Theresa Gilpatrick at tgilpat@hostworks.com .

Q. |
I'm looking for a hard-to-find Ferrari part. It is quite unique and I don’t know what resources are available to me. Can you help?
|
|
A. |
Please start by checking with your local authorized Ferrari dealer. Since it sounds like this is an unusual part to have in stock, you can also try many of the independent sources such as Lyle Tanner www.ferraripartsexchange.com , Partsource www.ferrariparts.com , T Rutlands www.trutlands.com, The Collection www.thecollection.com, Algar Ferrari in Philadelphia at www.algarferrari.com is also an option. You can also try www.FerrariPortal.com to research other ideas for parts vendors.

Q. |
I own a 1964 Ferrari 250 GT Lusso. Is it possible to obtain past history of the car through its VIN number?

The club does not retain VIN information, but you could ask for help from the Ferrari Market Letter. They have a good amount of historical information on specific cars. Try www.ferrarimarketletter.com or 770-381-1993 for additional information.

Q. |
Can you recommend a book that would explain and/or discuss the differences between the Ferrari 250 Cabriolet and the Ferrari 250 California Spyder?
|
|
A. |
We can’t recommend a specific book, but you might try going back to the FCA website, and clicking on Links. You should find one for the 250 Register and they might be able to help you. There are also a number of automotive book dealers who could direct you to suggested titles. Good luck!

Q. |
I am looking for a first anniversary gift for my husband. He is an avid Ferrari fan. We are planning a trip and will be near a dealer at that time. Can you tell me more about the benefits of membership? Would I be able to reserve a time for him to test drive a car at that dealership?
|
|
A. |
Here is a great overview of the benefits of club membership: http://www.ferrariclubofamerica.org/index.cfm/ID/35/MemberBenefits . We are not affiliated with the Ferrari Factory or with a specific dealer and would not be able to assist with a test drive.
