I recently purchased a 2003 360 Spider. As a owner, I drive the car alot, and have already placed over 14,000 miles on the car, (car had less than 10,000 miles when I purchased it). The tires show alot of wear and are ready to be replaced. I drive the car hard, and unlike many owners of a Ferrari, I will probably put 20,000 miles a year on the car. Can anyone direct me to what tire would give me the best overall wear factor for daily street use? Thank you!

There's always a trade-off between good grip (soft tire) and wear (hard tire). I'd contact the Tire Rack for some advice, or check their website as they've got great info on this.

Thank you very much, I will do that, as I have had business with TireRack in the past, just never thought they would be able to suggest a good tire for the Ferrari.

I also, wish to express my thanks for this website, and all the participating members. As this is not the first Ferrari I have owned, but it is the first Ferrari that I have owned in the past 20 years. I am very impressed with the car, it's quality level in all areas are impressive, and I have become much more of a car buff in my "older age". I was able to purchase the car from a friend of the family, got a great deal on the price, and when weather permits, (i.e., if it is not snowing), I will probably drive the car an easy 20,000 miles a year. That factor alone, will have me wanting information about tires, and other service issues, as I am more prone to wanting to work on my own automobiles, than to have anyone else do so.
