Can anyone provide insight on what percentage of a discount a potential purchaser can expect/demand when negotiating for a car with minor damage repaired by a Ferrari dealer.

Carfax shows damage but it was minor and repaired by dealer. Is it worth getting a better price now vs problems on re-sale??

Depends on why you're buying it. If you plan on driving it and having fun, a little minor damage is inevitable, and if it is properly repaired it's no big deal. Also, the relative importance of such considerations correlates inversely to the mileage on the car. In any case, if you can get a reduced price because of it, more power to you.

If you're thinking of it as an investment, that's a different story. Original condition, low mileage cars will always be worth more. The trade-off is that you have to live in fear of ever driving it, let alone being stuck behind a dump truck dropping gravel.

I assume you're talking about a relatively late model car, which will tend to lose value for a lot of years before it begins to appreciate again, anyway. My recommendation is that you get the best price you can, then enjoy the hell out of driving it without worrying about the effects on its resale value. That's the only real reason to buy a Ferrari in the first place.
